I went to a chiropractor for the first time in my life but he's not a regular chiropractor at all! He uses the Mackenzie Method, which I don't quite understand but it's specific exercises you do. The chiropractor doesn't do anything hands on.

This would be for my back problems which manifest in terrible sciatica. I can't sit for more than 10 or 15 minutes right now!

The chiropractor said I'd have to give up PT for the few weeks of these treatments. I don't know if I want to do that. I'm seeing a neurosurgeon tomorrow. I will see what he says. So, please post if you have used the Mackenzie Method or know someone who has. It sounds too good to be true.

I have a Sports Chiropractor. I have never heard of this method, which does not mean anything.

What have you found out? Are you going to give it a try?

I’ve heard Bob and Brad, “the two most famous physical therapists on the internet” talk about it.
