Kombucha is a fermented beverage that naturally contains healthy properties. It is also a probiotic. It contains less than 0.5% alcohol. You do have to be 21 or older to purchase kombucha, since it does have a small alcohol content.
I have found that drinking a bottle of kombucha takes the edge off of anxiety. It has much less alcohol that beer and wine do, and it's a healthy drink. It doesn't cause depression like beer or wine might. This is 1 type of kombucha (grape), but there are many brands and some are turmeric, ginger, greenfoods, and other health drinks. __________________ |

Interesting. I tried it once and kind of liked it, but I didn't know it could help with anxiety. Good find!

Well, it's a tiny bit of alcohol in it that helps with anxiety. I never (I mean never) drink alcohol, as far as the drinks someone thinks of as "alcoholic beverages." So even a minuscule bit of alcohol hits me hard enough so that I can function just fine, but have the edge taken off anxiety.
I suspect that if I drank kombucha regularly I would develop a tolerance to the alcohol in it. __________________ |

I've always liked kombucha. Okay, not when I was a kid or before that because I hadn't tried it then.
But it's a good beverage. The ones I have had only had a trace amount of alcohol in them, though; so little that I don't think you had to be over 21 to purchase them. That could have just been the variety that I had though. Honestly if I'm drinking kombucha I'd rather have it be the one with the least amount of alcohol possible. |
