What is your primary dx? I believe both have counterindications for bipolar but a good track record in major depression.
I have a friend who swears by TMS for his MDD and he is very high functioning. But he is also on the max dose of Prozac and in regular therapy. I do not personally know anyone who has tried ketamine injections. I have read that they can be effective swiftly but not for a long time. You have to continue treatments to maintain the effect which can be expensive. __________________ Bipolar I w/psychotic features Last inpatient stay in 2018 Geodon 40 mg Seroquel 75 mg Lybalvi 5 mg as a PRN Gabapentin 1200 mg, Vitamin B-complex (against extrapyramidal side effects) Long term side effects from medications some of them discontinued: - hypothyroidism - obesity Suspected narcolepsy Treated with Ritalin 5mg |

I have MDD c-ptsd and dissociative disorder, where I leave my body during stressful times.
The latter makes me think that it may not be a good fit. I will talk to my Dr about this. You have some good information, thank you! Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk |
