I think my father-in-law is getting softer in his old age. He changed his mind about the cat and will now take him in. We just have to wait until my daughter goes to live with them and she'll take Fat Boy with her. I'm sooooo relieved! I just wanted to let my friends here know that there was a happy ending to that story!
