I literally have to pull him away from the bowl so that he doesn't eat until he pukes.
That reminds me of something I have- while I was studying we didn't have very many people come into the clinic one day so I cleaned out the cabinet in the, uh... I've just had a total mental blank... the room that they do check ups in... you know... Well anyway, while I was cleaning out the cabinet and organising the pamphlets etc. I was scabbing all this stuff that the clinic didn't need, and I got a Royal Canin food bowl that is specially designed to reduce the chances of regurgitation in cats. It doesn't look like much, just a rectangle, but the larger food surface area spreads the kibble out, and the base is more elevated so when the cat eats it's head isn't facing down so much. It even has a diagram of how it works.
While I studied I scored so much free stuff from the clinic, 3 food bowls, a pet brush, 2 of those those key chain things that you hang around your neck (even if they do say Frontline and Heartguard), a Product Manual for Advance, a mug, plus a million pamphlets. Ah benefits...

... *facepalm* That reminds me that I forgot to order the dishes I was going to order from Drs. Foster and Smith. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...1&pcatid=20531

... and I bought so much stuff from them in the first place with my new credit card... to spoil them that now I can't afford it. Heh.
I ordered this scratching post for them. ^.^; http://www.drsfostersmith.com/images...S21650P_24.jpg
