yall know (or not) that I kind of gave up with the animal industry because I can't seem to get a job (and because of my recent breakdown I've just lost all my motivation for pretty much everything).
Well before my motivation went down I was really in study mode, yall know how much I'm into dog food. Now it's down to zero, I just don't care for most things, I feel like there's no point striving for any of it. Well this morning I was thinking to myself about my Royal Canin Product Manual refills because they've changed a few things and made new products. I requested refills and was told I would get it within a few weeks, that was months ago. Initially I had been revved up for it, I couldn't wait. Then of course when I got really down and started feeling like a failure at all I striven to achieve, I just didn't care anymore. I suddenly randomly remembered it this morning though, I figured whatever, if it didn't come months ago when I was told it would come, then forget it, I don't care, I have no interest in it, what's the point, etc. etc. Well 30 minutes later I went to check the mail, and take a guess as to what I received... I know this is kind of random to make a thread about, I just found it very coincidental (plus I had to share with somebody that I got my Royal Canin manual refills!!!). Kind of strange hu? |

You know, Evening.....lol...I know exactly what you mean.
Yeah, it is strange how some things "happen". I'm a very strong believer in the "power of suggestion". But oddly, in opposition, it has proven more times than not that the best way to obtain something we want most is to ....forget about it...?...lol. I'm not suggesting that giving up hope is the answer..or, AM I?..lol. I think what it is, is that we sometimes focus TOO much attention/energy on something and as a result, perhaps we set that expectation out of a reasonable range, therefore it seems unobtainable? It's as though we subconsciously sabotage our own selves..(and it's anyones guess as to why). It's much like...(and I'm sure everyone has experienced this at some point), when we are looking for something, or trying to remember something, and the harder we look, or try to remember, we cannot find or recall. BUT, soon after we relieve the deliberate pressure we put on ourselves of finding or remembering, we somehow "magically" stumble across what we were looking for, or it suddenly "pops" into our mind what we were trying so hard to remember. Yes. Odd how things happen.... ![]() Grats on getting the package you've been waiting for.... ![]() Shangrala ![]()
