This is Dusty, my new puppy. We've had him for about three weeks now. The little guy brings me so much happiness. And a pic of my cats, Minka, Sasha and Nina.

We're thinking he's 9 weeks old now. He was supposed to be 8 weeks old when we got him three weeks ago, but we believe he was more like 6 weeks old. Which is too young of course, but at first we believed the woman we got him from. It dawned on us later that he was awfully small for 8 weeks, and uncoordinated, and clingy.

Dusty is three quarters Border Collie and one quarter Labrador. Half the puppies looked like labs, with the short hair and all, and the other half looked like Border Collies, black and fluffy.

How cute is that!!! We have two cats also, and our new puppy, who is now 9 weeks old. She was born 10/20/10, and we got her when she was six weeks old. She is a LOT of fun, and she loves playing with our youngest cat. He keeps her in line a lot, nipping her if she needs it. She is learning to treat him and our other cat, with respect. Your pup looks more like a Rottie than a cross between a lab and border collie...at any rate, he is cute as cute can be!!! Enjoy him for years to come!!!! Check out our puppy on the DD forum about her!!! Pics are included!

LOL, yeah, he does look like a rottie. He's the only one in the litter that looked like that. The only brown one too. The shape of his head and his ears are very Border Collie. The fur on his body is more lab. And he has the short Lab tail too.
He got smacked in the ear by one of the cats last night. Bled like crazy. You'd think he learned something from that. Nope. Stubborn little guy.
