HI all,

I just joined this community this week and I am still trying to find my path. I really do not know how to relate to people but I can relate to cats.

For the past decade I have run a foster home for abused, abandoned and feral cats, and I want to share some of my "babies."

I am really bad at this "interwebs" stuff and I don't want to usurp bandwidth, so I will start with one photo -- this is a picture of one of my kitten foster rescues and my oldest son. I love this photo because it really shows the bond between human and feline. My son is currently awaiting a bone marrow transplant and while he waits he helps me with my rescue efforts....we both know all of this will come to an end when he starts his transplant journey but for now we both just really enjoy these little furballs...

Some of my lovelies

Thank you. They are, aren't they? Maybe that is mother's pride, but I find great joy in this photo...two young souls searching for their paths.

We remain hopeful.

Same to you--handsome son and cute kitty! As you'll see, lots of us have special connections with pets, and many times find them easier to relate to than people. Thanks so much for sharing--please do some more--and welcome! Hoping for the best for your son and glad to hear about your special ministry!

Is waiting there to hold and keep you
Welcome to the first day of your life

Just open up your eyes as I lay you down tonight
Safe on the other side
No more tears to cry
