My cats steal socks, every chance they get. Doesn't matter if dirty or clean. They find a sock, it's gone. And even if you put them in your shoes, they knock down the shoes and pull out the socks.

For the first time you can open your eyes
And see the world without your sorrow
Where no one knows the pain you left behind
And all the peace you could never find
Is waiting there to hold and keep you
Welcome to the first day of your life

Just open up your eyes as I lay you down tonight
Safe on the other side
No more tears to cry

It's not my cat, but one of my dogs. He steals stuff out of the trash. I have a little waste paper basket beside my bed, and I always catch him getting stuff out of it, and hiding it under the bed.... he's such a nut!

My previous cat stole objects too and was constantly having to go to the neighbors to see about returning them. I was lucky my neighbors found this amusing otherwise he would have had to become an indoor cat, which was prepared for.

Fortunately, the dogs just steal things in the house. The one dog, as soon as the dryer buzzer goes off actually will try to get there before me, open the door, pulls the laundry out and lie in it or take off with it. He likes the clean, warm clothes. The puppy now takes socks, clean or dirty and I have to keep them under lock and key b/c she's gotten crafty about trying to get to them.

Hubby and I once had a cat who like shiny things. I had to hide my jewlery or he would steal it.

One of my current cats likes to steal my glasses. I'm darned blind without them so have to hide them when I go to bed at night.

That's adorable! He is stealing the wrong things though, that's all I can say! Maybe he'll start with cash next, they need to get him trained!

I just finished with my first year of college and before I left for college I had a ferret named Elvis, but had to give him away because my parents didn't want to take care of him and I couldn't take him with me :/ but he used to steal my wallet, my keys, and my drumsticks It was hilarious! Except for he ruined a pair of drumsticks... but I needed new ones anyway!
