I have to tell you, I was laughing hysterically last night. It was our last obedience class. At then end, there was a graduation ceremony with these little caps, diplomas, and doggy ice cream for them. The caps were even sized to fit each size dog. It was pretty, darned cute. Here is Sophi's. She passed with flying colors, amazingly enough but have never seen such a thing, ever. Made my day besides making it through the class. She is so timid, wasn't sure it was going to happen. Yeah, Sophi!!

Awwwwww adorable pictures and congratualtions to Miss Sophie. Bella went for dog training too but she wouldn't leave her graduation cap on lol...she wanted to chew it. Did you go to pet Smart for the training? Ours were little black caps.

It wasn't PetSmart but I never knew they did the caps anywhere; I just think this is too funny, still laughing. The black would have been really nice, instead of the white. I was surprised she wore it but she won't move hardly with it on, freezes basically, bless her heart, not real thrilled or as amused as I am. I won't be putting it on her again. Her torture is over.

congrats!

my guy will let you slap outfits on him...for fundraising he dons outfits & will tolerate them for hours ...costumers, hats,,anything..doesn't seem to care at all..he has been a priate, baseball player, k-9 officer, chef, shark, all sorts of stupid things...wears them calmly.

he will "sing" on command...all i have tio do is ask him a "question" with the right tone of voice & he will answer with a bay or howl..& i do that as a fund raiser...we do especially well when he is in costume...the pirate works best for some reason...

once even last summer he went to events as "the situation" from the show jersey shore..with his own set of 6 pack abs (since i live on the jersey shore)

he even did an agility course one time while wearing his pirate costume..hat & all...while the crowd cheered "go pirate!, go pirate!"

some bassets are good with hats & costumes. they have a wicked sense of humor...

I start puppy class with Sadie tomorrow, I hope they give her a cap. So nervous about it, she better behave herself. I have flashbacks of our old dog acting up so badly in class.

Sophi had her moments in class and so did the other dogs; the trainers were good about letting us know what to do to work with them. I hope you will find that too as that is why we were there in the first place. Good luck to you and Sadie!!!
