my dear dog is a grounding force in my life. i lost my mom a few months ago. whenever i miss her, i hug my dog.

That's wonderful and I'm happy your dog comforts you. I'm sorry you lost your mom as well. My family really loves our dog Bella and she enriches our lives.

I know my eskies are always with me to support my emotions from the loss of my mom also to now with the loss of one of my eskies.
I am sorry for the loss of your mother. I know how hard that is. I lost my mother 6 years ago now (seems like yesterday). Without being surrounded with my eskies, it would have made my losses feel all that more difficult.

 Dogs are comfort, I stroke my dogs when I am sad.
