So my siames is always hungry (whats new) and my dog is a picky eater he is like a picky 2 year old. but he loves cat food
![]() sometimes i'll put him outside with it others just leave be, no big deal he will eat eventually. so as soon as mittens is done she skulks over to his bowl and as soon as he sees this he goes over to his bowl and looks at her then she pretends not to be walking that wat then she start again and he puts his head in his bowl but isn't eating he is literally pretending to trick her like he is eating. so she just sits there for a minute then gets up and walks away so he lifts his head back up and sits there make sure she is gone and then jumps over to the couch. they will do this a few times then he will eventually eat some of it. it's hilarious they are constantly giving each other grief its too funny she will purposly walk in front of him and rub against him back and forth cutting off his path each way he turns. but mind you he will torment her . he does get crazy after his walks and jumps all over her. i think the best moment is when he is walking by her and she is up on the atoman she sticks her paw out and bats at him then pretends like nothing happened. ![]() |

Pets are the greatest, aren't they, racee? Each with their own personality, their preferences, their desires and tricks, their ways of trying to get what they want, their ways of sulking if they don't get what they want. We've had a parade of pets through our house since we got married 42 years ago. We go to these huge local pet shows for birds, but for dogs and cats we go to the Humane. Not for breeds. We prefer mutts. But mutts with SOUL. You have to look deep into their eyes and figure out who that is looking back at you. And of course we've never found a single one that didn't respond very well indeed to kind treatment and plenty of food. They all know there are rules. And they'll go along with the rules (most of the time) provided they get that kind treatment and plenty of food. It's a privilege to share a house with all of them. Take care!

Hello (first time here).
I just wanted to say that some people think that cats don't care much for their human companion. That's totally false, even though my cat is very quiet and not very sweet he can somehow sense when I'm feeling bad and tries to play with me or let me know that he wants to sleep with me ![]() This always makes me feel much better, except for the white hairs all over my bed. |
