Lucy and her pups (only 8 of them at that stage)

Pictures: Lucy and her pups

Here you can see little Titan on top. The small little one with brown spots in the shape of hearts. You can see how small he is compared to the other pups. We loved you little Titan.

Pups all together, including Titan on the bottom left with the brown markings.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.......how sweet!! I've never seen a pile of puppies before! These precious little ones are all beautiful......and their tiny brother Titan lived long enough to carve his little place in our hearts. Lucy is a wonderful mom! Hugs to her and all her babies...... grey

These are pitbull puppies. Mama Lucy is black with a white head and the Daddy is white with cow patch black markings. Hence the predominant "cow patch" markings in the litter. I must say, we are very proud.

Oh what wonderful photos of the babies. They are absolutely adorable. I can just smell that little puppy smell over the computer.....that was the most wonderful smell & the little grunting noise the babies make. It's lots of work having puppies even though mom does all the puppy WORK. Just making sure that everything is ok & clean so mommy can just do her thing with her puppies takes a lot of work to start....you work with the puppies starts after a couple of weeks when they can be more easily handled. I could never resist handling them from the moment they were born.

Sorry that Titan didn't make it. It's sad when we know there is something not quite right in a puppy, but when we try our best for it to make it, that's all we can do....but it's not easy to loose any one of the puppies.

Thanks for sharing.....Lucy is a wonderful mommy & you & your son are great grandma & uncle. What a beautiful litter....love the markings each is so unique. In the horse world.....you would have pinto/paint puppies...lol.....love the term cow patch.....that really is very fitting.

The puppies and Mama are doing nicely. They have already grown Can't believe in a week or two their eyes and ears will open and those little teeth will start growing. I love watching them!

My friend has similar breed to Lucy
and had 10 pups lost 3. It can be
hard toil having litters and losing dear
little new births....hope all 9 are still doing
well.Hope you can keep up with changing
bedding and so forth.
My Chilli during her time had 3 litters of 4
and a dozen overall. She still grooms every dog she meets.
I give her cuddles for being a mummy.
When she can handle them here is cuddles for Lucy.

Lucy is coping well with her brood. We moved the birthing kennel to a nice and secure part of the yard today.

4 of the 9 pups are already homed. 2 of which are moving to a different city.

Changing of bedding is going well. We have brand new carpets \ mats which we wash and rotate.

When the pups eyes open (any day now), I'll post more pics!
Thanks for this!
