Do you find that your pet picks up on your mood and acts accordingly?

I could swear my cat is a barometer for my mood When I am stressed or worried, he is stressed (and mean). When I am calm, he is calm (and a total lovie).

He is a 6 year old hybrid that I adopted/rescued about a year and a half ago. I was his 4th and FINAL home. It hasn't been easy. But we have come such a long way together. Unfortunatey, this particular breed is famous for certain behavioral traits that can be construed as unattractive or make them unwanted in the wrong home.

I am sooo stressed right now and he is mimicking my mood and it's glaring! He is fearless and relentless when he wants something on a good day, and even more so when I am and/or he is stressing
