Our kitten which is 7 months plays fetch with us. It is so cute. When it is time to go to bed he also lays down in the doorway of our room and sleeps there most of the night after he goes to every room and checks the whole house out. It is interesting to see how much a cat can be like a dog. I figure I am not the only one that has a goof cat.
Thanks for this!

Nah, you're not the only one with a goofy cat. One of my cats loves to watch the water go around in the toilet. She will bump me in the hip with her nose when I'm sitting on the toilet to make me get up and make the water go 'round. If I'm not sitting on the tyoilet she'll go in and put her paws on the rim and look at me as if to say"well come on. make the water go round!"
Thanks for this!

I know that when i had my kitten, she was very funny indeed - so naughty! she used to hop up onto the mantelpiece of our fire place and systematically knock off whatever was on there before looking up at us and then carrying on destroying everything else that was unfortunately in her path! we also used to have this thick, deep pile rug which i used to occasionally plant little treats in (it was an old, much used rug!) which she would then proceed to sniff out and stalk - when she did finally pounce she was so greedy she'd end up with a mouthful of rug! I used to have pull her off before she chewed the thing into oblivion! I adore cats - and i think, like everything, the more love and affection you put in the more you get back. I didn't own my kitten though - she most definately owned me! Thanks for sharing

I have a gold/orange colored cat with wiry hair - he's a La Perm - ever heard of the breed? Hair looks like an old lady with a permanent. Anyway, he sits on his hind legs, puts his front paws together and "prays". It's so cute. Don't know why he does this. I've had multiple cats over my 58 years and never seen another one with this screwy behavior

Our tuxedo cat Misty has learned to go to my husband when she wants something, since I can't get around lately, due to an ailing foot. He'll come in the den and no sooner get settled at his computer when she runs in and starts meowing and rubbing against his legs.

He is not a big cat person, so I get rather amused at his trying to figure out what she wants.
Thanks for this!

I think Misty must be getting a bit senile. My husband caught her the other day with her front paws over in her litter box and her rear sticking out. As a result, she was peeing on the floor.....
