I wish Krazee could speak the human language...he is just yelling at me in #10 voice, and i have no clue what he wants.
He is perfectly healthy. Already checked.

He is literally climbing on me, yelling at me. I've resorted in desperation to just keep saying those 4 immortal words...

Help me. help you! (Jerry Maguire)

lol. Anybody speak ALC?!

Sorry Rose, I don't speak ALC, but understand your frustration. My Dobby does the same thing some times. It drives me nuts!

Have you checked food, water and litter box? I've learned my crew will howl at me if one of those is not to their liking. If those are all OK it usually means Dobby wants cuddle time.

My Sambeckett used to yell at me when he wanted me to sit down and make a lap for him.

((((Liz)))) thank you so much for responding! It really helps to know i am not alone. Water. Check. Food. Check. Boxes. Check. Toys. Check. Lovies. Check.

I am exhausted, though. He seems to be calmer now. I feel guilty because i worry that he senses my feelings / anxiety and he reflects it back.

For as much as i was trying to hide them for him. He is too smart for me

I dont want to stress him out. I love the little dude.

Many thanks to you again,
Hugs,
Rose

Hi Rose, I am sure you have a cat as I am sure you have referred to having one, if I got right person here. I have a cat. I know you must be worried and I hope it’s nothing too bad but maybe it could be a behaviour thing. I hope you don’t mind my reply. It could just be that cats sometimes aren’t really looking for affection in the first instants but once they have you attention then it’s show me you love me… and you have no chance of finishing what you were doing before your cat walked in lol.

However mostly if you seem to be paying something noticeable attention for a period of time, cat’s naturally want to find out what’s so interesting you’re paying it that much attention. Say if you’re working on something and haven’t noted your cat for a while. Unfortunately cats don’t get that this could be important work you brought home with you to finish etc. that requires your consecration and hopefully without disruption even if it’s your adorable friend. As far as cats are concerned nothing, not even your partner, boyfriend, home work, work, cooking, cleaning etc is at no means more interesting or need’s that much of your attention than your cat themselves.

My cat is like this, she even almost sits on my dinner plate or try’s to walk through it so I move it. So she can sit on my lap… I live at home, we don’t have dinner table so this is hard to work around. Apart from balancing my plate on the side in any hope off finishing it because as far as my cats concerned she they only thing that should sit on my lap lol.

My cat normally quietens down once I leave whatever I was doing alone for a while and pay her attention. Another thing you can do is (I know this sounds strange) let your cat smell what you have. So like if it was a piece of paper hold it out to your cat let them see, smell what it is. For all they know you’re paying another animal more attention to them. They don’t quite get it’s just a piece of paper or whatever lol. Also cats are like children nothing is more important than your love for them and they get jealous and worry when you seem to have interest in something else. Sorry if this isn’t the case with your pet and I hope you don’t mind my reply. I not sure if this applies with most animals, I wouldn’t know I am just a cat person myself. I hope you can be at ease soon and work out why your pet is behaving this way and nothing is wrong with them. Wish you all the best
Thanks for this!

Animals know so much more then we give them credit for. It sounds like someone picked on your hurt. I had a horse who was this way. If he knew I was upset he would put his head at my chest like he understood. He wanted me to hug him and get it all out. Sometimes I would hug him and he would lean his neck and head over on me like he was hugging me. I miss my baby now that he's gone.

I pet set for people to make extra money. People laugh and call me the animal whisper. I get all kind of pets that miss there owners. I run across animals that have issues with their health or mental issues to. I think folks are happy to have someone there animal can relate to.

Did I tell you I'm not a people person. I'm not a social butterfly. I realate to animals better than humans. Animals love you unconditionally and don't hurt you (usually) A kiss and a snack and a little attention is all they want. Lots better then men. A hug and a snack and a little attention then we all know what they want.
Thanks for this!

(((((Mind)))) ((((Big Mama))))Thank you! What you wrote made sense, as well. It does seem that he is a little barometer for my feelings...also he seems to not like it at all when I am on my Android...i will let him smell the phone again. Hopefully he wont chew he loves plastic and certain types of rubber...one of the more bizarre alc traits!

He was just at the vet for his annual check up. He is totally healthy, thank goodness.

hugs, Rose

Oh Rose, if you were huring emotionally he was probably trying to take care of you! No need to hide it from him. Heck we can't hide it from certain sensitive fur babies. Let him love on you so he can take care of you.
Thanks for this!

Talk back to him

That is what I do sometimes with my kitty if he has all he needs, and is all good, but he just wants to talk.. I will talk with him.

I agree that animals sense a lot more of what we may think*.

Perhaps play with him if he is not a snuggler if that is not too straining on you right now (toss balls around maybe? i used to have a cat that would play fetch with me but not all cats do that)- But playing with him, that too can help you take your mind off of some of your worries for a moment or two.
