The title says it all, what pets do you have?

I have two cats over at my mom's house.
The once cat we adopted when she was a stray, so she really isn't "my" cat. She's a bit of a diva but still loveable (and now that she's gotten fat she's cuddly too! lol). We call her Mommy Cat because guess what? When she was adopted by us off the streets little did we know what she was pregnant! Well, she only had one kitten named Booka and because the two of us are so close it was pretty much unanimous that she was my cat (I have some pictures of her in the album at my profile)

And my dad wants to get a dog sometime soon (If sometime soon counts that is )

a lionhead rabbit called Izzy... she's 2 1/2 month old and is a little menace

(the rabbits are a real handful, but love 'em to bits)

My husband and I have a doggie named Sugar.
She is a Spitz-mix. We got her from a shelter.
She was a stray. She is estimated to be about 2-3 years old.

Right now we are caring for a dog because his owner is incarcerated. Just found out the owner is up on federal charges and will not be getting out any time soon.

So, Zeb the collie/chow mix will probably be with us for a long time. Which is ok...he's a really good dog. He goes by many different names: Zeb, Zebra, Zebbie, Zebberella LOL. He's about 7 yrs old or so and putting on some weight. He was way too skinny when we first got him, and full of fleas. But that has all changed and he has much attention and love...he's doing great!

Funny thing...it was my daughter who took him in and he seems to be attached to me the most LOL.

WOW!!! I love this thread, and reading about all your pets here! Now I don't feel so overwhelmed with three cats and a dog. Two of the cats are purebred Maine Coons and one is an old stray which I've had longer than any of the others. He seems to have found a second home, and only comes around here when he feels like it! The doggy is a recent adoptee from the local shelter...a Golden Retriever, German Shepherd mix, 5 months old, and getting bigger by the day!
Last night, I left the kitchen door ajar so the cats could come in and sleep inside if they chose to do so. This morning, I found two huge hairball throw-ups on my new sofa...one with questionable contents that looked like feathers! Ah...the life of a pet owner!

This is a great thread, and great new area; thanks for creating it, whoever was responsible! I have two cats that I got as kittens a few years ago for my birthday. They are sisters, from the same litter, and both black and white with cute pink noses. Their names are Xena and Gabrielle. I've been a stay-at-home mom to them for a while, and they often follow me from room to room. They get upset if I stay away, and when I was in the hospital this summer, my mom tells me they were very displeased! I love them so much it's scary. They always make me smile; life wouldn't be nearly as good without them.

We just got a Lhasa Apso puppy. Turbo - he is 4 months old. And gets into everything. Potty training has been challenging.

Our girls have a hamster. His name is Fudge Sprite. We normally call him Fudge.

We have a tiny cat named Sofa with medium long orange and dark brown hair. She comes into a room like Kramer from Sienfeld and when shes happy she arches her back and rapidly shakes the tip of her tail. She fetches her toys like a dog and proudly carries around a soft hat and mittens like thier her kittens. Way too cute.
