They look funny. Did the dogs like them right away or did it take awhile to get used to them?

I was wondering the same thing. Dogs often walk funny when you put shoes on their feet. But your dog looks really spiffy in them!

I was at a bus stop a few days ago. It was snowing, and some guy had his Shitzu out. Poor thing was freezing and limping, and soaked all over, like he'd been forced to sit on the ice for at least half an hour. The fool owner had the dog standing in the slush (salt and ice) and insisted the dog wanted to be out. Any idiot could tell that wasn't true. There was a dry spot in the bus shelter just feet away. Thank God he took the dog in just then. (Probably he saw my dagger eyes.) If I ever see this man do that again, I'm reporting him to the SPCA. It physically hurt to watch that dog. I am ever so happy you have thought ot protect your dog's feet!!

Maybe the SPCA could make the guy stand barefoot in the slush?

It's very sad to know there are very inhumane people in this world who should NEVER have the ability to have a pet. This world is full of too many folks like that and many horror stories. One can only hope that they will get what they deserve in the end. And the poor animals get peace from their sufferings. I cry often because of what these animals suffer. And the very least I can do is treat our pets with alot of TLC.
