Tarra and Bella: Elephant loses man's best friend - CBS News
Tarra and Bella were best friends for nearly 10 years. When the dog, Bella was attacked by coyotes and passed away, Tarra is believed to have carried Bella back home to bury her. The other elephants have been trying to comfort Tarra, by bringing food and spending time with her.
