Twenty-six tell tale signs you are a dog owner....

Life with a dog: photos that show you're a dog owner

#9 is particularly poignant for me. Al used to travel almost everywhere with me. He's not able to anymore.

My 100 pound Rottie thinks he is a lap dog. His head fills my lap.

lol Regarding number two, we don't even USE blinds any more because our dogs just ruin them. Does that count? Instead we just have really dark curtains.

Number three, my mom's sheltie mix does that. My late sheltie mix did, too. Yeah. I don't even notice any more.

Five is pretty dang true, too. Any food left unattended on the table will suddenly disappear.

Aw heck. The vast majority of them are true for me. I can never use the bathroom without at least one dog tagging along (and sometimes a cat, too, actually). Love the list. Thanks for it.

My late sheltie mix was a rather big dog. She was mixed with something quite a bit bigger than Shetland sheepdog (which was obvious when she grew to be bigger than we were told). I can't remember how much she weighed. But she was two or three times the size of my mom's 25 lb boy. We, also, have Chihuahuas and a small corgi mix. Ironically, the big girl was the lap dog. Funny how that works.
