He has to have surgery on his knees or he will have arthritis later in life. The vet said it would be 800 dollars, but i found someone who will do it for 400.

Might need a hip replacement too. Keep that in mind.

Later in life? They generally only live 2-3 years, the record holder making it only a little over 7. I don't know if I would want to invest that kind of money for surgery instead of pain meds like the majority of us people take for our knee arthritis?
