I purchased a locust for a pet and his name is Danny.

The pet store owner said he's officially not a pet, he's only sold as pet food, but I like him anyway and he didn't cost very much.

He'll eat basically anything but he particularly enjoys crops.

I can send you a cicada. They aren't much trouble and they are kinda cute in a insecty way. They make great alarm clocks too if you can figure out how to set them.

I only deal in plague-based animals now. Locusts, rats, etc.

Would head lice or bed bugs appeal as well? Do you get the crops or take him to the crops?

Hey, bugs need love, too! I love all animals, and I try not to kill bugs unless I have to (like if there's an infestation or it's dangerous or something like that). My drawing teacher at college doesn't like to kill insects and spiders, either; she rescued a spider that happened to find its way into our classroom one day.

The spider? I don't know. The professor rescued him or her and put it outside.

the locust is alright. every now and then 100,000 or so of his buddies come over and they fly away together but he always returns.

Incidentally, how much does a locust cost? And what made you name him (how do you know it's a him?) Danny? *Fascinated!*
