I believe that all animals like music, especially if it's not so loud as to hear their sensitive hearing. I had a friend once who was a very gifted violinist. He lived on a ranch where there was a horse. My friend used to play the violin for the horse. The horse would stand quietly and listen. It was quite amazing.

All my cats except one have liked music. My girl cat now passed loved music and I would dance silly while she sat on the arm of a chair and she loved it. Current cat boy hates music it seems to annoy him and certainly no dancing.

Yes, the one dog I have actually sways her head in time with the music. The other one in particular has preferences and lets me know by doing circles when I first put the music on and laying her head near the speaker; if she does not like something, she tears upstairs and stays there to get away from it. Being my more social critter, this is unusual behavior, but to my advantage if I want them out from underfoot when company comes.

I didn't think my bunny liked to listen to music until I took her to a pet hotel and they played classical music for her during the day and I saw how calm it made her.
So I started playing classical music for her at home when she's playing and sometimes we listen to Hawai'i radio and she's so calm.

I don't think mine did. We never really played any music out loud other than what was on the T.V show or the radio, but he did enjoy the quiet. He really didn't like things too so I would say a no.

I volunteer at a no kill, no cage animal rescue group. The adoption center was designed based on animal behaviorist information. Cats and dogs like classical music. It's nice if you leave the radio on while you are gone.

We have a Schnoodle (Poodle / Schnauzer). We adopted him after he was picked up as a stray. He likes the "music" of squeaky toys!

My cats didn't care for music. They were really bothered whenever I played either my recorder or I sang really loud. That would hurt belle's ears and she came over and bit me to get me to stop.

My guy disregards all man made sounds including other voices, but not my voice. If I sing he will hop into my lap and nuzzle(perhaps he just knows I'm happy)although he doesn't like it if I sing in certain ranges, then he swats at my mouth until i'm back in his range.

I think he only regards nature made sounds as real music. Recordings of nature do not impress him and are also disregarded.

My dog loves music, especially classical and brass bands. I was at an open air concert once and she belly crawled over to the bandstand when I wasn't paying her much attention, she got really close to the trombones and rested her head right by them, she seemed to enjoy the feel of the music as well as the sound.

My dog LOVES the L Word. Usually she just sleeps on the bed beside me at night, but if I'm watching an episode, she always seems to be paying attention lol.

My kitty loves music. I watch a lot of musicals and Disney movies, and I'm always singing along, and she loves it. She'll jump in my lap, or rub against me and meow along most of the time.

My childhood cat hated music and would act like a real grump if it was playing in a room. If you tried to sing or dance with it (as little kids tend to do) she would go all out and attack your legs with both teeth and claws.

My dogs like Bollywood movies, I think because of the musical numbers. So my dogs dig Bollywood music.

Yup.

My older cat evidently does not. Whenever she is on my lap and I start singing, she gets an annoyed look on her face and jumps off.

Aw!!! It isn't what you think, though.
She's just jealous of your beautiful voice!
