I'm not sure what's going on, but Mikey is incredibly clingy today.I went out to dinner last night with some friends. I was only gone a few hours, nowhere near as long as when I go to work. When I got home he threw himself at me, latched on to my ear to "nurse" and got frantic if I tried to put him down. He is less desperate acting today, but still needs to be near or touching me.

Poor little man. I wish I knew what triggered this.

Hugs for both you LL and Mikey. I hope he returns to being calm and self assured again soon.

I think a friend of mine came up with the reason for his clingyness. I never go out in the evening. I go to work during the day during the week. I might run errands during the day on weekends, but I home at night. Last week I left the house around the time I normally come home and was gone for hours. Maybe Mikey thought I abandoned him when I went out for the evening. Poor little man.

That sounds so cute. Just give Mikey lots more love. I'm such a hopeless animal lover, and was a horse trainer most of my life so far.

But I'm kind of new here and want to know where that thread or category is that has pages of animal pictures and many of GrumpyCat. I got there by accident and can't find it again. Thanks.

Is this the thread you were looking for?

I trained horses professionally for 25 years. I just ride for pleasure now.
