So my dog and his girlfriend had babies but then we got rid of his girlfriend and left him with one of his sons because we were low on money. Now my dog doesn't always come when I call him... Is he possibly holding something against me? Or is it just a phase?
P. S. We just sold her to a good neighbor and know she's in good health. I don't have a guilty conscience. The rest of the babies had to be given to a shelter though and people like puppies so I don't think they'll all be put down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not coming when he calls you is a respect/obedience issue. Be the alpha=obedient dog friend. Examples that help: make him earn everything (sit for his food) and don't give it to him until you're ready, don't walk around your dog if he's laying down walk over him or make him move, and don't let him in or out the door first. If its strictly disobedience with recall, he sees no reason to come to you. Short term solution=treats long term=training. There's a gal that wrote a book called 1000 english words to teach your dog. Its really good and goes over respect training. Hope this helped
