I thought this would be fun for people to talk about cats! I have a sweet and totally a jerk orange and white cat. He's 3 years old and I love him.

Aw heck cats are fun to talk about anywhere. I have a grey tabby I call Puss. Actually she's PussII. Her predecessor was Puss as well. She's 8? years old I think and she makes me laugh. That's a big deal. We get along fine but for her habit of always lying across books when I'm trying to read.

It's all good but anyway, if someone in head office wants to move this to the pet section that's fine of course. That said, back to the furry little whiskered beasties. What's your cat's name Sarah? Oh btw, welcome to PC!

I have five cats...Sidney, Sadie, Jack, Solomon, and Jade. Jade is 17 and spends her days sleeping in a little box on my desk, her nights sleeping beneath my nightstand. Cats are such graceful, precious beings.

I have one cat, a big black fluffy guy named Oscar. He's such a softy, both in behavior and in fur texture.

In fact, a while back we fostered an exotic shorthair female named Smoosh, who was not even 8lbs. She bullied poor Oscar into a fit of constant stress that took a toll on him. He developed Cystitis in his urinary tract as a result. Poor guy. Well, Smoosh is in her new home now and Oscar once again has his house back without the fear of a little 7.8lbs, smooshed face, black and white ball of fury sneak attacking him.

Yea! We have a white grumpy kitty named Bella. She loves us... but can't stand being around other people. She follows my wife and I around like a puppy!

We have two tortoiseshell cats: Sophie and Roxie. Roxie is actually my daughter's cat. It's funny when people can't tell them apart. Roxie is territorial and Sophie is high-strung, but they get along and hang out together.

I have five, all rescues.

Boomer is a male standard tabby with a lot of white on his chest, belly and legs. He is afraid of everything and pretty much lives under the bed. He is named Boomer because he went for weeks with no name. He was kind of standoffish (still is). We had a humdinger of a lightening storm. There was a loud crack of thunder and he threw himself in my lap. I asked him if the "thunder boomer" scared him and the name stuck.

The one girl is Abby, named for Abby on NCIS. No she's not goth, just liked the name for her. She's a blue cream calico. She can be a real sweetheart until one of the boys POs her. Then she's a dervish! A friend found her in the parking lot where she worked and called to see If I'd like to have her. I guess it was pretty obvious what I was thinking since I went to her house with a cat carrier.

Next came Dobby, yep named for Dobby in Harry Potter. Think of Dobby the house elf following Harry around saying "Harry Potter! Harry Potter!" That's how my Dobby acts. He is a cuddle bunny. He loves to be held - all 15 pounds of him! Dobby is a black and white tuxedo cat.

The Mikey and Krissy came the same weekend.

Mikey thinks I am his mom - really! His feline mother abandoned him in a tree when he was so young his eyes were barely open. I bottle fed him and carried him around inside my shirt for a couple of weeks. To this day if he needs reassurance about something he comes and "nurses" on my earlobe, then wants cuddle time. Mikey is a grey tabby with some Maine Coon in him. He's got the fluffy tail, talks like a Maine Coon and has the ruff around his neck.

Last, and least when it comes to size is Krissy. He is an itty bitty guy, barely weighs 5 pounds. He looks like a kitten even though he's two years old. He is my special needs kitty. He has nerve damage in his left shoulder area that prevents him for using that leg. He comes from feral stock and is not real affectionate. I brought him home when a friend was fostering him. I pointed out he had an eye infection. She complained she didn't have the money to take him to the vet. (side note - why would you take in feral kittens to foster if you can't afford to give them what they need?) Anyway, I said I had some medication at home I'd use in his eyes and bring him back. I called a couple of days later to tell her I was not giving him back. I took him to the vet to have him checked out... several hundred dollars later we walked out of the vet with medicine for the eye infection, ear mites, worms, fleas and eeeewwww mange. Any wonder I didn't give him back? We spent the next year and a half trying to heal an open sore on his face. It's only been in the last couple of months he has started to be affectionate, but it has to be on his terms. Krissy is also a grey tabby, but is a short hair.
For those who are wondering why we named a male cat Krissy, I thought he was a she at first. By the time the vet pointed out she was a he, he already knew the name. Anyway, it's not like the other cats at school are going to pick on him for having a girl's name.

I have one big blue male mixed breed cat that I met when I was volunteering at the shelter. His general build is English shorthair and he is an four on the floor kind of guy but his face has changed to more American shorthair in the last few years. He does have a longer suggestion of a ruff and the cutes soft chirping meow. He was a four time offender to the shelter and his owner surrenders him rather than pay the fine. I met him in the ICU where he was undergoing neb treatments and hand feeding. He looks majestic but he's a scared guy. Fearful of males and won't go near a door that leads outside. As I type Sir Lawrence knight of the crescent moon is dozing on my feet.

I have a black and white male cat. His name is Milo. I adopted him about 18 months a go. He has brought so much joy to me. I love him to bits. Before him I had a dog but he died in 2015. I miss him so much.
