The cat clinic called and my sweet boy's ashes are ready to be picked up. I have to find a way to get there and bring him home. it's so hard typing this. It's just too real. He was the most special kitty. Never knew a cat to stare at you so much and communicate the way he did. His name when he was in the shelter, when he was 5 months old and when my mom picked him out after her 23 year old cat died, was Kismet. It was meant to be, and I wish my mom and Bucky had more than 7 months together. I always corrected people when they said I was his mom. I was his kind of mom and his sister, and he was deep in my heart and remains there. He was unique and the most beautiful boy. Hope there are lots of treats where you are, loveliest. Always and forever. You stay in me and I stay in you. We made that deal.

I'm sorry for your loss, it sounds like you gave him a nice life and some good times. I hope he did not suffer too much towards the end.
