Does your cat give a little trill when you touch her unexpectedly?

Yes, mine do. I don't even have to touch Mikey. If I do something to draw his attention unexpectedly he makes this brrr-it sound. We think he is part Maine Coon and they are talkers.

I used to swear Sambeckett was a little old man wearing a cat suit. He used to walk around mutter under his breath.

My Oscar does that. He'll come into a room and trill as though he's saying "hi" to anyone in there. He'll even reply with more trills when you "trill" right back at him.
