My daughters bird likes to snuggle by crawling down into your collar and hang onto your bra or waistband and make little happy chirping sounds lol. Then if I try to get her out she hides under my armpit as if I can't see her.
 It is not a bad but on odd feeling. Is this normal bird behavior? She is a green cheek conure (like a little parrot- hooked beak)

I know nothing about normal bird behavior, but it sounds sweet. :throb:

My caique does this too.
Sometimes he's very busy, but sometimes he snuggles. |

Pretty normal for companion birds, some are snugglers. Sometimes it's hormonal, it females could lead to egg laying ( not good). Think of it as nesting behavior.
I have a Cockatoo, when she snuggles she Will for a long time even sleep, when it's hormonal she gets very aggervated, I just remove her from the situation. Hope it helps.
