Having cats is like having children. You can't go to the bathroom by yourself because for what ever reason they want in. Once you let them in they are fascinated with the toilet flushing.

They wake you up in the middle of the night either because they want in your room and your bed or they want to play or they want a treat or all of the above.

I stupidly thought when my kids got older I would be able to "sleep in" heck no. They woke me up at midnight and at 4 am. It's now 5:24 am and I am posting this.

But unlike children these guys will give you unconditional love and they don't ask to borrow the car then again they have never got stuck underneath solar panels on a neighbor's roof for 3 days

Oh well they will be able to sleep in an hour or so. They have had treats, food and have watched me flush the toilet twice since 4 am

Lol.. Cats are so funny My cat has a habit of sitting on my stomach purring every morning and recently I bought him a brush so he now loves to be brushed.

We have a freezer with an ice tray and occasionally an ice cube falls out. Our cats are really confused--they want to play with it but don't like their paws getting wet and cold. So we watch them touch it and shake their paws afterwards.

Apokolips very handsome cats you have.

My kids are 27 and 21. I haven't had kid toys around the house in a long time. We really never had a lot of cat toys in the front room. Sunny our senior cat used to spend most of his time in my daughter's room but when she moved out he started coming out more then hubby rescued McGee. We have a thing for orange cats. Both Sunny and McGee are orange but sunny's fur is faded.

A few hours ago hubby was walking through the front room and he started talking to the them telling them to put their toys away. We kinda just looked at him (me and the cats). My front room has so many toys since we got McGee you can't help but step on some of them.

McGee loves water. He doesn't mind getting wet and he has a thing for the toilet

Abby is obsessed with running water. Charmander was a rescue that was abused for ten years until I got him so he's pretty afraid of most things. He has really come out of his shell now so that's wonderful.

Oh Liz I needed a laugh today.

Sunny got me up at 2:30 am meowing nonstop. Nothing I did would help him. He did stop long enough to eat his treats and to sniff McGee.

Now he's sleeping peacefully however I have been up since 2:30 am
