do dog-people hate cats? and do cat-people hate dogs??
i was just curious. or is it more of a 'like them both but prefer one more' type of thing? just wondering what 'animal lovers' had to say on this topic. |

I woof doggies and I wuv kitties. Since I need to choose one, I choose a dog friend. I would love to be a cat human too one day.

I know there are some who hate one and love the other. Me? I'm a critter person. I love 'em all.

I'm more of a dog person. I like other people's kitties. But I probably wouldn't have one myself.

I'm a cat person, I love dogs too, I just love cats more. No one will ever love cats as much as I do. I don't really get the conflict. You can have an opinion but just because you don't like something doesn't mean no one else can. Cats and dogs are both wonderful pets that bring much happiness and love why would you want to ruin that for someone else?

I own 5 cats, but I love big, quiet dogs. I'd sure like to own a Bloodhound. Or a Beagle.

thanks everyone.
it was just a thought that had been on my mind recently. after my aunt died last year, i realized that i lost my 'cat person'! she was basically the only person who asked about my cats/pets and wanted to hear stories about them. [she had one indoor cat and would talk about her to me ALL the time] |

earlier this year, my sibling and their spouse got a dog (inside pet, and have no kids yet). it didn't take long for me to 'realize' what was going on. my parents and all three siblings have dogs (granted two also have cats). so it had now become 'acceptable' to talk about the dog as their "child or kid" (new family member...) and post/text photos & stories -> which garnered an almost immediate response message from the rest/others! yet at the same time, i could do one about my cats or even the kittens at my parents' farm, and there's not a single response! and it pissed me off and i was like wth..... SO ......... then i thought maybe it's just a 'dog-person' thing. or maybe not - idk |
