I like my cat’s name; Sir Lawrence Knight of the Crescent Moon, or Sir. He does come to Sir.

The family cat was named Mr. Biggles after Dr. Evil's cat in Austin Powers.

My mom's black cat was named Salem, and my mom had another cat named Hurricane. My grandparents had a cat named Tigger.

If I were to get a black cat or a black and white cat, I'll name him Elwood after the Blues Brothers

Of mine only Ollie made the list. Or as he is known when he is in trouble Ol-AH-VER! Kind of like when your mother uses your whole name to tell at you. My Ollie is named for the main character on Arrow because he (the cat, not the person) has an arrow on his belly that points at his privates.

Abby is named for Abby on NCIS.

Mikey's full name is Motor Mouth Mikey. Can you tell he is a talker? And a loud one!

Dobby is named for the house elf in Harry Potter.

Boomer is named after the thunder that sent him running to me for protection.

Miette is French. Loosely translated it means "sweet little bit"

I have only ever had one male cat. He was called Cuddles. I could never sit down without him walking across my chest.

Do you remember Morris the Cat from Friskies tv commercials & ads? And I had an imaginary cat who looked like him named Clarence.

I've only had one boy cat, Tex was his name. I was a teenager and my Momma cat had babies so I named them after states. He was the only boy so his full name was Texas but I called him Tex for the little while that we had them. My dad said we couldn't keep them.

sometimes to pass the time, I think about what I would name a group of animals if I had them. I go through the names for a group of ducks, and a group of rabbits, etc. my 12 yr old Ember, almost had a little brother named ashe. I've also nicknamed her so many times, sometimes it sound like I am talking to a little human.

We have no cats now, but sometimes look after one for our neighbour. I’ve bought him a catnip mouse for Christmas, made from scraps of fabric!
There is a cat who visits the garden at work, called Jimmy. I used to call him Stumpy because he’s lost the top half of his tail, and he doesn’t wear a collar.

It's interesting that the girl cat name only got one response.
