We are occasionally asked to walk the neighbor's dog. Her name is Ellie, and she is a tiny yorkie. I had yorkies years ago, and I love them. She is the sweetest little thing. She wears pretty dresses (which isn't my thing, but she's absolutely adorable in them) She hangs out for a while at our house, and then goes home. I sure wish I had one of the little dogs like I used to. I think she and Ellie would be great friends.

Dear prettymccute,

That sounds so sweet. I sorely miss having a dog. They are such wonderful, wonderful creatures and companions. I am fond of all animals and try to not to injure any creature but dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I have only good memories of the dogs in my life: Brock a Doberman, Patsy an Irish Setter, Rufus I and Rufus 2: both Irish Setters, Gretchen, a German Shorthaired Pointer and Sheba, an Afghan Hound. Where I live now I cannot have a dog. I have had some pet rabbits and rats in the past. Right now I have befriended some kind of black beetle that was struggling in the snow. Beetles do not have the cellular antifreeze that some other insects have and therefore need to ride out the winter in a warm place or face an early end. Yorkies are cool dogs. You are a lucky person.

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen
