Henrietta, was my rescue chicken. She was acting off the last few days. I found her dead today.:sad: She was 11 or 12 years old, which is ancient for a chicken.
I'm sorry she's gone, but she had a good long life. |

Wow, I didn’t even know chickens got that old. That is a long life. May she be pecking away in corn heaven.

I think I might get some chicks next spring. I should be retired by then and will have time to care for them.
