Miss Abby and I made an unplanned trip to the vet today. She and Mikey got into a "disagreement" Saturday. She ended up dangling by a back leg off a wooden crate. I wasn't able to give the leg a very good exam because she threatened to take my hand off when I tried to check her out. It was the weekend so the vet's office was closed. I confined her to a crate for the weekend.

Vet's office was able to fit us in this morning. Thankfully nothing serious wrong. No broken bones or dislocated joints. "Just" soft tissue stuff. They gave her an injection to help with pain and swelling. She was walking almost normally by the time we got home.

funny story on myself from this.... I had an ongoing dream last night that I was polling the members of Congress whether I should take Abby to the vet or not. I was making them identify as Republican or Democrat before they voted! Major weirdness! (please don't turn this into something political. I'm only mentioning it to poke fun at myself)
