Beeg has a growth on his leg that looks suspicious. I just emailed pics to the vet with a request to look at the pics and tell me if he needs to be seen. I'm afraid it's another mast cell tumor.

At least the spot on his leg, not as big across as a pencil eraser. The others were huge mothers. Hopefully we can catch this early if it is something to worry about.
edited to add... Vet already got back to me. He goes in next Thursday so they can aspirated it and see what's going on. Trying to maintain the lesson I learned from Beeg. He doesn't worry about cancer coming back so I try not to. Gotta admit I'm worried about this. Last edited by lizardlady; Sep 03, 2021 at 04:04 PM.. |

I am sorry that Beeg is off to the vet again. It's good that you found it early.

Yes. I think the main thing is keeping on top of the cancer, liz. Best wishes for Beeg's recovery, no matter what the eraser-thing is.

The thing on his leg fell off! Can't even tell where it was. I'm going to keep an eye on the spot, but canceled the appt. with the vet. No point going in to have her aspirate something that's not there anymore.
