Hi, One of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes a short while ago. The insulin injections are going well; she's a sweet, cooperative cat. My vet is encouraging me to do home testing on her because we're having some difficulty stabilizing her & he thinks bringing her to the vet and leaving her there all day to do a glucose curve is stressing her out. The stress causes inaccurate blood glucose readings.
Does anyone here have experience with a diabetic cat? Do you home test? Any other tips? Thank you! __________________ |

hi bethrags, so sorry to hear about your kitty. diabetes seems so common in cats. have you tried googling? there is so much info online nowadays. i found this one resource. The DCI Forum. good luck to you and your kitty.
