This coming Tuesday, rain or shine, I have to take my 15-year-old dog, Precious, to the vet to get her right back leg looked at. I also found out that I've been overfeeding her with sad regret. I really feel guilty for this. Please send positive vibes this way.

Sending you both positive vibes. Solving the overfeeding problem is easy - feed less.

What a dear little doggie. Yeah, like me, she has a tummy on her. I hope all goes well with your Precious.

We go with you virtually. Some people write the names of their pocket riders on slips of paper and carry them in a pocket.

I learn something new everyday. I prefer positive vibes and prayers. They're easier.

Thanks for the advice.

Update: Precious' back leg is from a :luxating patella". It's not life threatening however because of her age, the veterinarian doesn't want to risk surgery on her. I understand because she is a senior dog. She does however need to lose weight.

Thank you for the positive vibes.

What are they doing instead of surgery, to help her leg, sybil?

my Tigger had that, as part of the injury the black cat did when he attacked her, they did surgery to pin it all together, not sure what they would of done if they decided surgery wasn't a option

I hope her leg is ok. Maybe start walking her to help her lose weight and try to identify what triggers you to want to overfeed her? Is it anxiety that leads you to do that? She is a very cute dog.
