Beeg died during the night. I stayed up with him until around 4am. Then I conked out and fell asleep. He was dead when I woke up a couple of hours later. Waiting for the sun to come up so I can bury him.
Am going to miss the goofy boy. |

We had each other almost 8 years. Not long compared to others, but a good amount of time.
I found him at animal control. I'd just had to put my last dog down with no warning. I needed another dog right away. Went to animal control to see what they had. Found this big goofy Pitt cross who kept coming out of his skin as I went by. I ended up coming back again the next day. We clicked and he came home with me. I don't have that burning need for another right now. Going to sit back and let the next one find me. |

Currently taking a break from digging the hole for him. Let me tell you a 70 pound Pitt requires a pit to bury him. Sorry, I have a warped sense of humor.
Starting back in my 20s I used to say "I'm getting too old for this *****" when I had a physically demanding job to do. It was meant as a joke. 40 years later it ain't a joke anymore. |
