Tiggers having a blood test done and i worried cause the vet said about her thyroid

Whats it supposed to do? Can it get cancers?

Blood test results are not back yet

Tigger was a very good girl she let them shave a bit of her neck and didnt protest at all, she just wanted loves ❤️

The vets all agree she is wonderful, particularly as most cats tell them to shove their equipments up their arse or try to run away from them, Tigger just chilled on the table and offered nose kisses if a nose got close enough ❤️

I have 2 thyroid nodules and they haven't turned into cancer yet. I don't even think about them much to be honest. They don't bother me. At least humans can live with them.

I’m so sorry you’re struggling

My dog had a problem with his thyroid and he just had to take a tablet everyday. He had hypothyroidism and he took thyroxine.

He was so lethargic and tired and his skin was bad before. But after starting the tablet he got his energy back!

I hope your cat is ok, sending lots of hugs your way

Willow, try to wait for the lab results to come back. I know that's hard.

Once upon a time we had a cat with a thyroid problem. Like Pinny's pooch a pill a day took care of it.

It's tough waiting for results. Try to not let it get the best of you.
