Tigger hates tuna, and all other people-food, but tonight she actually decided she wanted to eat some after I gave Willow some
Does the fact that Tigger's decided she wants some food that she literally hates, mean she's going to die soon? She's always thought of people-food as being stinkies and nasties and pulls faces about her meowmy eating any of it - "what are you trying to feed yourself, meowmy? that's a stinky!" the same sort of face that would get pulled if a really stinky fart was to be let off in a enclosed area, everyone wafting the smell away from themselfs, thats the type of reaction Tigger does to people-food but cause tonight she wanted to eat actual tuna its left me terrified the fact she asked for some tuna means she's dying |

Oh, if only they could talk, eh?
I don't think because she tried tuna that she is going to die. Has she eaten any today? You know, my vet told be to cut some parsley up and put it in my kitty's wet food. But I do feed my girl some grass and she likes it. I always heard that when they eat grass it means they're sick... but she it well so far and the vet did say to give her parsley after all, so I figure the grass won't hurt. You can even buy short pots with grass in it to feed to cats, but I figure I'll just get it from outside and feed her the parsley in the winter. Do your cats like catnip? |

Maybe because Willow got some tuna, Tigger did not want to be left out.
I wouldn’t worry about this one time thing, but if you start noticing other behavioral changes, or other changes regardless of what they are, to check with a vet. My cat started drinking a lot of water, and it’s usually related to kidney disease, but he was checked and there’s nothing wrong with him. I was worried too, that he was sick. But he isn’t. They can’t talk to us so when we see a change in what they normally do, we get worried. |

Or possibly Tigger thought, "If Mommy eats it, it can't be that bad!"
I don't think Tigger's dying. I think he's just being a finicky cat! __________________ "I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
