Started my day in a panic this morning. I've posted multiple times that my cats are indoor only. Way too many dangers for them to be outside.
Fed the cats and dog this morning and was surprised Miette was not doing her usual dance and screaming at me while doled out food. Once in a blue moon she will be so soundly asleep I have to wake her to eat. Walked through the house calling her. No Miette. Then I saw a screen was popped out! Went outside, walked around the house, the yard, the barn area calling her. Could not find her. I was working myself into a tizzy. Went inside and tried finding her inside. No luck. Went back outside, circled the house again calling her name. Finally I spotted her under some bushes. Took a bit of coaxing to get her to come out she was so scared. Brought her in the house and made a big fuss over her. Also gave her breakfast. What a way to start the day! |

Oof. What a scary way to start the day. Yeah outside is way too dangerous for a kitty.

Oh so scary. Same around here. Too many dangers iven for the "street smart" barn kitty I had. So glad you found her all safe & giving extra attention & feeding might remind her next time not to venture outside.
Gabe loves to sneek out my door when I go out. He wanders around when I am outside with him, otherwise mostly stays on my deck railing just to get some fresh outside air. Bella has never ventured downstairs let alone outside since I brought her home in Feb....Gabe is my adventurer

I'm so glad you found her! I had that happen a few times where I used to live and it's scary.
