Title says it all. I cannot find Miette. She did not come for breakfast. This girl NEVER misses a meal. Searched the house, no Miette. My house looks like Howard's house since I brought mom's stuff home. Searched around the yard and barn. No Miette.
In searching the house I found a screen that was pushed out. Told myself I have to take some time to eat something (low blood sugar). Then I'll look outside some more. I am absolutely freaking out. Am imagining all sorts of terrible things. Please keep both of us in your thoughts. |

Put her food outside by the door and some if her other stuff so she’d come home. Thinking of you and your kitty

@lizardlady I am so sorry Miette is missing. Hopefully they come home.
Our cat went missing and came back 8 days later hungry and dehydrated. I guessed she might have got locked in a garage or tool shed. It was a miracle she came back. Hope you find them soon. The Baby Girl is found!!!!!!
 I was eating breakfast and thought I heard her yelling. Listened and heard it again. Found her on the back porch yelling her head off. Hugged the snuffings out of her and brought her inside. Did some more hugging and cuddling, then gave her breakfast. She seems okay. Me on the other hand. I'm still trying to get over the scare. I just might have to keep windows closed until I get my screens replaced. Yes, weather here is nice enough to have windows open. |

Thanks everyone. She likes going outside with me when I work in the yard. Never had her escape before. She was frightened enough when I found her I thought maybe she wouldn't try again. WRONG! She continues to go to the door and beg to go out. I ordered her a new harness (she outgrew her old one) so she can start going outside with me again.
