I haven't been feeling good for the past week or 2. I've been throwing up and in a lot of stomach pain and my GI doctor won't respond to me.

I have a 6 year old long haired black cat, probably a Norwegian Forrest Cat, named Gary. Since I've been sick he has been so affectionate and cuddly. He used to ignore me. Now he'll jump in my lap and get into bed with me and sit by me.

Idk. Is he trying to tell me something? I've heard that before of pets.

MD, Gary is telling you he knows you are sick and is doing what he can to help you feel better. My entire crew become a bunch of cuddlebugs when I don't feel well.

Your cat may be responding to your anxiety-levels being high...

I don't think that a week or two of not feeling well means you have cancer all of the sudden... I hope you're not thinking along those lines, but if you are, being a fellow-anxiety-sufferer, I understand.

(((Big Hugs)))

If your stomach persists, ask to see your GP if the GI is not responding. Maybe they can get you in to see the specialist...

In the meantime, is there anything natural that you can take to help? Ginger, ginger ale, plain rice??

Also, if your nerves are bad, place your hand on your solar plexus and lightly push - it's a form of therapeutic touch that should help you relax and feel cared for.

My orange guy, Crookshanks who despises me and ignores me all the time got into my lap today and let me pet him. Weird. I've been sick as **** and trying to figure out why.

Animals can sense when their people aren’t feeling good, it’s like a pack thing I think, although I may be wrong. I’ve seen them go to unwell or unhappy/stressed people many times before.

Norwegian Forrest cats are so adorable, and very intelligent.
