Personally I can't see how anyone can disagree with the fact that a bird is an animal
But I have witnessed it: someone claims that A duck is a bird, but is not an animal because they are different |

Yes a bird is an animal. It’s warm blooded and has a backbone. Some of them are very smart, like the crow and parrots 🦜

Birds are animals. Maybe the person meant to say (or write) that birds are not mammals, which is true.
