Before anyone starts yelling at me, title is what some woman is claiming on Tik Tok. I am struggling to stay within community guidelines this makes me so angry. I hope to all that's good that this person does not have any pets.

Compare this to another story I saw today about a group of people who saw h animals trapped in flood waters in NC. They made their way through chest deep water to tear down the fence to free the horses said to let them die and took off. The heros of the story also freed some goats that were going to drown if not turned loose.

You’d be surprised.

My friend and I got into argument with this one woman we ran into. She argued how if the animal is sick, they need to be put down, like it’s crazy to spend money on sick pets. And she wasn’t talking about deadly sick suffering animals. It was a mundane stuff like dog needing allergy pill. She argued that my friend is nuts spending the kind of money, it wasn’t even a lot of money and dog us happy jolly, just needs a freaking pill!

I am not even a pet person and I wanted to hit her. This woman is needed to be put down!

I thought we resolved this with was it Katrina? When they realized it was a mistake not to let people take their pets to the red cross shelters.

Yes they did. I lived in Texas back then, I volunteered at an animal shelter and we made plans for the following hurricane that included us volunteering at the hurricanes shelter and bringing cages and collars and food. All the pets got extra collars with their human contact info on it. Dogs were walked regularly and all except for one very cute pup were reunited with their owner when the shelters closed. We even had a lizard.

Fight me if this is against community guidelines (don't. That's against guidelines, just do a report-aroo).

But. I'm just going to say some people's parent's should've left their kid behind in a natural disaster. (Has this woman ever been in a natural disaster?)

Divine, I wonder if that woman goes to the doctor if she or her kids get seriously ill. Hmm, looking to the future if she develops health problems that require daily medication should we just put her down?

My critters and my money. I get to decide what I spend the money on.
