I am so excited right now. I am getting a dog. She is a 3 year old Silky Terrier. It is'nt final yet, but i am meeting the lady who has her so i am keping my fingers crossed. I have wanted a dog ever since my lab that i had for many years died last year at the age of 15. When I get her I'll post pictures. I have'nt been this excited about nothing in so long.

Congrats!!, that is so exciting. I am happy for you, sure hope you get her. I have two dogs and love them immensely. I enjoy them so much. Mine are Jack russell terriers. They have brought me years of joy and happiness. I enjoy the security of owning a dog too. They will sure alert you if anyone is nearby, their hearing is acute....keeping my fingers crossed for you too....hope to see your pictures soon.....Take Care

That's great Thunderbear, I'm really glad for you and hope it works out. I don't think anyone's life is really complete unless they have an animal to love.

The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth.
Please don't tell me that we had that conversation,
'Cause I won't remember, save your breath 'cause what's the use?

Aahh, the night is calling, and it whispers to me softly,
"Come and play". Aahh, I am falling, and if I let myself go
I'm the only one to blame.

I'm safe, up high, nothing can touch me, but why do I feel
this party's over?
No pain, inside, you're like perfection, but how do I feel
this good sober?"
