Haven't posted in here before, but I'm crying and just needed to type something.

I have my 8 yr old kitty at the vet right now...she's okay...just a standard dental cleaning, but the vet says they have to pull a tooth.

The reason Im crying is....my kitty is not here and I miss her soooo much. I can't stand walking into my room and not seeing her curled up on my bed, or hearing her meow while she's playing with her toys....

This hurting and missing is made stronger too because I had to put my 16 yr old kitty to sleep in November of 08 because she had Cancer. I am still missing her...had her over half my life and still expect to see her around...so missing my 8 yr old, is making miss my 16 yr old at the same time.....

I don't really have anyone else so my cats are my kids!! Thankfully, I have another kitty...beautiful 15 yr old who is giving love and snuggles while my baby is away....

Anyway...just sharing...

I feel the same way even when my dog has to get her hair groomed and is gone for a whole day! I miss her so much when I cannot see her or hold her. When I hand her over to the groomer I always kiss her and tell her that her "mommy" loves her and will see her soon.
