It seems so hard to do when that bite of food or whatever seems to have a little momentary relief from pain in it. Yet, the truth is longer lasting joy and relief come from saying no. It is hard to believe but true that you will feel better physically and emotionally when you choose better . It just feels hard to do and I struggle to do so but if I could remember there is a reward for good choices!

Most people have the problem of making good choices when something that is not so good but tastes better or is more fun comes along. We all fight that battle from time to time and with a little self-control we can come out winners health wise.
Thanks for this!

So, deep down inside, are we self-punishers?
Do we sabotage ourselves on purpose?
Or do others sabotage us?
We all know what we should do, but food always fills up that empty spot

What a daily battle. Full of weakness. Full of want.
