If you've seen a therapist for over-eating, please share your story.

I am thinking about it, but am not too sure what good it will do.

i think a therapist can be very beneficial since many of us over eat to fill a void in our lives. i would suggest if you follow thru on this that you interview the therapists for someone who actually has experience with eating disorders. it is not something really taught in mainstream education i dont think and someone would have to take extra training to understand it. if you go with someone who isnt specifically trained, then counseling may not be beneficial. good luck and take care.
